Volunteers

The Café offers volunteering opportunities to assist with preparing and serving food. Volunteering is for many people an opportunity to try out something new or to gain/regain confidence in a work setting. Some volunteers take the opportunity to move on from their placement into paid work in the Café. Opportunity to access accredited courses in catering.

Paid employment

We like to give as many people as possible the chance to work in the Café and so we offer short-term contracts in return for a friendly and supportive working environment, a decent wage, and a reference.
