Jobseekers register with Slivers-of-Time, and make themselves available to work, stating the times they can work, the types of work they are interested in, and where they are prepared to travel. Slivers-of-Time then matches them against employers' requirements, and sends the jobseeker a text with details of the work. They do the job, and Slivers-of-Time pays them on a weekly basis.

By offering flexibility, Slivers-of-Time can give people a gradual introduction (or re-introduction) to work and offers the chance to try out new types of work for short periods of time.
