What is WAVET?
WAVET stands for Work, Advice, Volunteering, Education and Training.
It is a network of organisations aiming to provide information, development and training opportunities
for people who access mental health services and service providers.
What we hope to achieve
- Strategic input and development;
- Monitoring shifts and changes;
- Planning new service developments to create cohesion between services and to reduce duplication where it exists;
- The provision of training opportunities for staff, people who access mental health
services and volunteers, which is linked to the training provided by other agencies.

All meetings will be held at Cambridge Resource Centre, Norfolk St, 10 - 11.30am, except AGM and where otherwise stated.
AGM will be held at St Andrews Hall, Chesterton, 2pm - 4pm.
Application Process
To find out more information about WAVET, please contact Sarah Bye, current chair. You can attend one of the WAVET
meetings to find out whether the group would be beneficial to you. If you decide to go ahead with your
application then complete the application form and forward it to Sarah Bye at Richmond Fellowship along
with your membership payment. You will then be added to the distribution list and forwarded information
on future meetings.
